Mulga View Shearer's Quarters is 74Kms North East of Blinman. Why not break your trip to or from Arkaroola and stay at Mulga View. Watch the sunset behind Mount Roebuck. Enjoy a short walk to the top of the hill behind the Shearer's Quarters and take in the panoramic views of the ranges and Mt Chambers. Stay an extra day and take a trip to Chambers Gorge. Climb Mt Chambers while you are in the gorge and then come back and rest with an evening meal by the BBQ. Chambers Gorge turn off is only 11 kms from Mulga View Shearer's Quarters. Come and stay and bush walk on Mulga View. Mulga View Station has been owned and operated by the Reschke family as a Pastoral Property since 1922, running sheep and cattle. The property now runs only cattle and is owned by Bill and Julie Reschke. Take a drive to Arkaroola, Blinman or Chambers Gorge. At night you can relax around the outdoor fireplace, enjoying stories and star gazing after your day out on Mulga View. Try the 25 km 4WD track, which takes 4 hours minimum looking at spectacular scenery, or take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day exploring the beautiful rugged Stirrup Iron Range. The 4WDtrack provides you with panoramic views of the Northern Flinders Ranges, Lake Frome, Chambers Gorge and the Gammon Ranges. Bush camping is also available on Mulga View.

Located 74 km North East of Blinman, on the Blinman to Arkaroola road in the Northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia.

It is a bush Walkers paradise, walk in the Stiruip Iron Range or near by Mount Chambers or Chambers Gorge. Walk in areas that not many other people have walked.

When you make a reservation you are the only occupier of this building you do not share with other guests.

  • The Shearers Quarters has Four Bedrooms, large Kitchen, Dining and Lounge area, Bathroom and Laundry.
  • Bedroom 1: 2 Bunk Beds.
  • Bedroom 2: Queen size bed.
  • Bedroom 3: Double bed
  • Bedroom 4: 2 Bunk Beds.
  • Each bed has one sheet and pillow.
  • Kitchen/Dining is a large open plan area with gas stove, with griller, pans, kettle, fridge, microwave and all the usual cooking and eating utensils.
  • Lounge area has four seater lounge that can be also a double bed, two single and two double lounge seats.
  • Television and DVD player are also in the lounge.
  • Bathroom has a two shower and has washing machine and double wash trough.
  • Gas hot water.
  • There are two separate toilets.
  • Shelted built in Gas Barbecue with chairs, table and wood heater with firewood provided.
  • A camp fire area is provided. (Fire wood supplied)
  • Rainwater is provided for drinking only, good quality bore water for all other use.
  • The station generates it's own 240 volt solar/diesel power. The system does not support the use of heaters or large appliances.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation area.

Firearms or off-road use of vehicles are not allowed on this property

Dogs permitted on a leash.

Trail bikes or off-road use of vehicles are restricted to the Stirrup Iron Range Track by payment of a fee to the owners.

Minimum deposit of one nights tarrif is required within 7 days to confirm booking.

The balance of the tariff is due at least 28 days before your stay.
